Desmond, Vice Consuls, the latter also serving as Consul General for Rome; with additional miscellaney of Vaughan as Brazilian Vice Consul, 1830-1836. Papers also contain one page of entries relating to the Brazilian Consulate and a letter from the New York Brazilian legation to Edward S. Sayres, Vice Consul at Philadelphia, dated August 13, 1866. The contents of the letter describe imigration instructions. Some entries in Spanish and Portuguese.
